Cross Country on My New Kawasaki
“I’m going to see the country on my new Kawasaki EN500, purchased from Matthews Fun Machines”, exclaimed Jonathan de Bruyn, and boy did he.
Jonathan purchased his new Kawasaki from me in the spring of 2007. He then planned an extensive cross-country trip that would cover 9268 miles, 21 states, and 46 days from August 17 to October 3, 2007.
“My Kawasaki ran like a top”, Jonathan proudly expressed. Not one mechanical problem, “that’s a Kawasaki for ‘ya”, said Jonathan.
Highlights included extreme lightning in the plains to millions of stars in the clear midnight sky near the badlands of South Dakota. However, the best part of the trip was the Pacific Ocean from Washington sate to California via highway 101.
“What a great adventure, on a great Kawasaki”, and “Thanks a million to Matthews Fun Machines and their super sales staff”, said Jonathan.

Vulcan 1500 Drifter |
Barry has a great story behind purchasing this particular motorcycle from us. Let's see if I can give you the short version. When Barry was younger (he turns 65 Aug.19th), he had an Indian. Unfortunatly, his father crashed it and bent the frame, shortly after the bike was gotten rid of. Many years later, Barry began a quest for a new motorcycle, not knowing what Matthews Fun Machines would have in store for him. A new Drifter from Kawasaki that very much resembled his old Indian. A needle in a hay stack is what this drifter was though. It was a 1999, and one of the last years to be the Indian Red color, where as all the current Drifters are silver and black. We filled the void, and Barry is now out cruising around, catching up on a few years that made it by him on 4 wheels instead of 2! Enjoy the ride Barry, you deserve it!

Doug, what can we say man. Everyone here appreciates what you, your wife, and everyone else in the military has done, and is doing for our country right now. You see folks, Doug is in the Army, and when he figured out he would be coming home soon, he called us and said I want an 05 Raven R1, and I'll be there in March to get it. This was in December of 2004. Doug wasn't on United States soil for more than 24 hours before we saw him ready to take his new R1 home. It just goes to show was motorcycling is all about. FREEDOM! Thanks Doug

Rachel and Ernie...You guys ROCK! It's people like you that make working in this business worth while. You would think the opposite, but it is rare to have people come in with as much enthusiasm about powersports as you all. Too many people come in thinking this is a car dealership, and come in with a hard nosed attitude and think that they are about to get "taken." You as well as all of our other customers can vouch for us in saying you got a great deal with service that we feel is better than anyone else. Have a great Christmas and hopefully we will see you and the kids down at TNT on New Years Day!

The Baucom Family has to be one of the closest families to ever come into MFM. We rarely ever seen an entire family, from grandchildren to parents to grandparents, come in to experience the excitement of a child getting their very first motorcycle. The amount of emotions in our store was through the roof when we all saw the shock on Joseph's face. More than a few tears of joy were shed, from both family and the MFM staff. CONGRATULATIONS Joseph! We'll never forget you, that's a promise!

The Singletary brothers are a loyal bunch. So loyal, they buy all their bikes from Matthews Fun Machines, well, with the exception of one, but we won't point fingers, no one is perfect after all, just kidding! We know the Busa is fast, just don't let Billy get ya on the Kaw! Congratulations again!

Gregg was a daily face here at MFM, while he was awaiting on the arrival of his FJR. Now that he has it, we don't see him as often...it's only weekly now! Gregg was one of two lucky customers to get the limited production motorcycle. Congratulations again Gregg!
